DJM is a drafting company that “draws for install” and we are looking for skilled trade professionals to work with our drafting team to ensure that the drawings are 100% buildable using true construction standards and codes compliance. Individual must be able to work with DJM Project managers and at times work with clients to insure we meet their needs.
This position requires the individual to review drawings, mark up drawings and work with drafters as necessary.
- Must have excellent blueprint reading skills.
- Must be able to markup drawings and instruct others how to make changes to the drawings.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction installation.
- Must have fabrication experience and understand SMCNA Standards
- Good understanding of a schedule.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must have a good understanding of computers and basic programs.
- Must be motivated.
- Must be willing to learn a few basic software programs.
