Project Description:
The University of Maryland’s Cole Field House has always been recognized as a world-class athletic facility. In 2017, an extensive $155 million-dollar upgrade plan was unveiled, including a new performance center, sports medicine and health facility, and an innovation facility.
How DJM Helped:
As the main component of the college’s facilities and student life, the project leads wanted to ensure that the designs were perfect. They hired DJM to coordinate the renovation and addition’s BIM coordination, Sheet Metal, Mechanical Pipe, and Plumbing. The DJM team did so seamlessly even with the challenge of the scoreboard and related support steel.
